There are numerous group exercises that may be done, such as: pilates, cycling, aerobics, step, self-defense classes, muscle training, boxing and high-intensity training. Clubs that have swimming pools might offer aqua aerobics to members as well. Instructors are usually required to be certified in order to teach these classes.

Many centers are expected to have sports facilities, including courts, pools and boxing spaces. There might be an added to fee to get access to these areas. Personal training is an option that people may be interested in. These services are offered to members who want consultation, or training and fitness or health and nutrition advice. They offer aid to clients wanting to meet goals and may also be beneficial when it comes to training and monitoring members. Typically these services are available on an hourly basis.
