Aloe vera combined with clay. If there are some aloe vera plants in the backyard, then itching should not give you a headache. All you have to do is obtain 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel. You may also go for aloe vera gel in a pump bottle or tube, although you need to see to it that it's 100 percent pure.

Grab a few fresh basil leaves and pound them. Add a few drops of olive oil and mix. Daub the resulting mush on problem areas and allow it to stay there for 20 to 30 minutes. Garlic infused olive oil. Garlic is another popular kitchen ingredient that may be combined with olive oil. All you have to do is mince two to three cloves of it and then saute in half a cup of olive oil. Allow to infuse overnight. The next morning, use as necessary.

Peppermint essential oil and carrier oil. Most commercially available topical solutions for itching contain peppermint essential oil. If there's a bottle of it in your bathroom, place a few drops of it to your favorite kind of carrier oil. Mix very well and then daub on problem areas using a cotton swab. Allow about 30 minutes to pass before you wash it off.

Warm organic honey. Aside from making just about anything sweet, honey is also very good at dealing with itchiness no matter the reason behind it. Having a small jar of organic honey in the kitchen means you have easy access to an effective anti itch product. It is said that honey works so much better if it's warm. Before applying, heat up a little of it in the microwave for a few seconds only. Check that it's not blistering hot in order to avoid getting burned.
