How GMO Skinap Wound Healing Works

By Richard Howard

The body has a way to heal wounds. The blood lets the platelets to pass through and clump up over the affected area. Clotting of the blood stops it from bleeding further. The world of science, particularly biology, has found a new and effective way to do this. This is known as the GMO Skinap wound healing.

This medical process is developed by Skinap Therapeutics. This company is one of the leaders in advancing biotechnology innovations. They specialize in creating medicines and medical devices involved in healing wounds and regenerate tissues for the betterment of health and of life. Their products are particularly for patients with life threatening wounds that have little to no way to heal, as well as potential diseases that are caused by tissue failures.

There is a concept that has been around for a few years which is called GMO or the genetically modified organisms. The company have applied and used this concept for the good of their medical research. This is the result from an experiment in genetic engineering where the specie is extracted of its genetic DNA and then inserts that into the genetic DNA of unrelated specie.

In GMO, smaller animals are being genetically engineered. The most popular choice among the genetics engineers are maggots. These will then secrete the platelet derived growth factor with two sub units BB or PDGF BB solution. These are placed over the wounded area for rapid regeneration of cells. However, they are only used for debridement wherein infected, damaged and dead tissues are removed.

Clinical validation is how they know that this process on healing wounds works. The logic behind this is based on cell movement during healing. Here, healthy cells will multiply and then migrate to the wound in order to invade the wound beds for eventual sealing.

This behavior of cells are complex, as found by the biological science. Skinap Therapeutics has research teams following and studying their behavior. They found out that these cells are relying on various factors. One of these factors is gene expression where they control and select which genes are expressed in the cell DNA for the creation of functional proteins.

Proteins support the cells in their structure. Cell behavior relied on them for protein biosynthesis, modification, and folding. Biosynthesis is the process wherein cells build new proteins in compensation for the loss in degradation. They are then modified during ribosomes synthesis to help form mature proteins. It will then fold to acquire a structure where it is functional biologically.

Cells also rely on their environment and communication. They send and receive signals which trigger an immediate response. Once a cell received it, it will then go through its proteins in order to change the behavior of the cell. In this case, it is to seal the wound in order to accelerate healing.

Proper circulation of the blood has made it possible for all of those mentioned work. How good the circulation is directly affects how good the healing rate is. When there is obstruction in the veins, then the healing rate will slow. Infections on the body of the patients will possibly worsen the longer it takes to heal.
