The compounding of the tight muscles leads to contraction and shortening. This causes more tension and more pain on the affected area. Triceps should be massaged and flexed muscles too. This will help ease the tension found on the coffin bone as the massages manage to relax the adjoining to the soft tissues found in the leg, the neck and shoulder.

When carrying out a massage on it that has the laminitis situation, one needs to work from up to bottom. The trapezium muscle and rhomboid will be found to be tight because it will tend to use its head weight to build momentum in its attempt to move the painful front at the end. Thus is not to be applied on the muscle found on the lower left as it can cause pain . Resting the leg on your knee for a bit as this might cause it to want to change weight over to the other left. Massage the tendons found down on the top and the lower leg. Respect the pain tolerated. Some can be tolerant that other and will indicate when they need to relax a bit.
