Valuable Homemade Underarm Odor Solution

By Melissa Wood

Body odors are natural but they should remain mild. They are most prevalent in folded and concealed areas, with underarms being the most vulnerable because of the possibility of sweating. Unless it is a health condition, you need to find an underarm odor solution that works for you. This does not mean expensive procedures. There are excellent natural solutions that you can embrace to remain fresh scented all day.

The first step should be identifying the source of this smell. There are health conditions that may cause odors and therefore require medical prescription. Diet and whether you take a regular shower will also determine your body smell. You also need to change your cloths on regular basis to keep them fresh. Avoid medication because of dependency and instead go for the natural solutions.

Moisture is one of the reasons underarms get smelly. The use of baking soda has been ascertained to provide an effective solution by keeping the area dry. In the absence of moisture, stench causing bacteria will not form, giving you fresh armpits. Baking soda also has natural deodorant properties. To prepare baking soda, mix it in a tea spoon of lemon juice and apply directly on your armpits. Take a shower after a few minutes.

Body stench is usually caused by pH imbalance especially on the skin. A remedy lies in the use of apple cinder vinegar. It restores balance on your skin, leaving it dry and with a pleasant smell. The solution is soaked in a cotton ball and applied directly on your armpits. Allow it to stay for two to three minutes before washing it off in the shower.

Lemon has acidic properties that regulate the pH of your body. This works by ensuring eliminating a conducive environment for bacteria to thrive and cause the awful smell. The beauty with lemon is that it can be applied directly without the need for apparatus or preparation procedures. You should allow the juice to dry on the skin before taking a shower for it to sip deep. For people with sensitive skins, you need to dilute the lemon juice for it to be effective.

The scent given by rosemary is unique and has a deodorant effect. The active compounds in rosemary limits the growth of bacteria and will neutralize odors that are too strong. Rosemary also offers zinc to your body and skin ensuring that its deficiency does not leave your skin with an awful smell.

Reduce your stress levels. There are glands in the body that produce a milky substance made of lipids and water. This substance is food to the stench causing bacteria and will therefore escalate your problem. Relax using such techniques as yoga and meditation to keep your body calm. You may also exercise and leave places that leave you with tension. This will be good for the overall health of your body.

There are many remedies for odors based on your condition and whether they are accessible. By consulting a medical specialist, you will find an effective solution. Avoid depending on drugs because they could be addictive. Natural remedies are also more reliable because they do not have long term side effects.
