What A Chiropractor Culver City Can Do For You

By John Roberts

What does a chiropractor actually do? Very often you hear people saying that the chiropractor can fix neck pain and back pain. Other people might tell you funny story such as; they went to the Chiropractor Culver City and he cured their indigestion, bile problem, headaches, visual disturbance, etc. They sometimes even say they use to have ringing in their ears and their daughter had bedwetting, but it all went away.

Jokes aside, can a chiropractor really do all that? The answer to that is definitely a resounding no. In fact, despite all the stories out there, it is more likely that a chiropractor has never treated a case of pain or headache in his professional life. One may find this shocking but nonetheless, true.

What chiropractors do and specialize in is the integrity of the nervous system through the function of the spine. To be healthy means hundred percent function of everything in the human body, because if everything in the body is functioning at a hundred percent then there will be no room for sickness.

The human body is a miracle, an exquisite work of art. With the myriad number of cells and functions taking place within the human body, it is a self-regulating, self-cleansing and self-rejuvenating machine. From your respiratory system to your digestive system to your circulatory system, every part and function of the body speaks to a high level of coordination by a highly intelligent control organ - the brain. Let's consider the case of what happens when you eat.

How does it do that? The brain has to send a signal from the top of the spine down the spine. This signal eventually come out or move from the primary nerve in the middle supply or one of the primary nerve supplies to the stomach.

Subluxation simply means a misalignment or breach in the spine. In such situations, if the brain is trying to send a signal to your stomach to digest what you are eating right now, and there is a subluxation or misalignment present in your spinal column, this might prevent the signal from reaching your stomach via the connecting nerves. This is where the practitioner of this system of complementary medicine comes in as he works in correcting the breach caused by the subluxation.

So in such a case, when you visit your chiropractor, he will first of all examine your spine for signs of subluxation and determine if your case is really a chiropractic case or not. If it is, this system of complementary medicine will then set out to correct the subluxation by carefully removing the pressure on the nerve. Once treated, the vast increase in the quality of life is fulfilling.

What chiropractors do may seem a lot like a miracle or a mystery. But it isn't. They simply believe in the interconnectedness of the entire human body and as such, a fully functional body starts with the full functionality of the nervous system.
